This is not a game where you trade based on headlines alone.

Industry / Company size / Market reach / Customer segment / Cost exposure / Debt exposure

Combine the news with these company traits to work out which stocks may benefit and which may be hurt.

The same story can have very different effects on different companies.

Higher difficulty means more information—and more noise

Easy 3 news items / 2 active traits / 1 uncertain item / 6 market stocks

Normal 4 news items / 4 active traits / 2 uncertain items / 10 market stocks

Hard 5 news items / 6 active traits / 3 uncertain items / 12 market stocks

Uncertain information appears from Day 2 onward.

As the difficulty rises, you will need to compare more companies, more traits, and more competing information.

News comes with different confidence levels:

Confirmed / Early Report / Indication / Rumor

Not every story will affect the market exactly as expected. Some may fizzle out, while others may even move in the opposite direction.

Knowing what to ignore can matter just as much as knowing what to trust.
